yep, that's what I'm talking about right there. the 250 has my name on it. I think the 250 is around $6K. very high quality componentry as well. plus, they have a real carb on them.
6-speed tranny also, which seems to be a bit rare for this class of bike. Agreed on the componentry - you won't need to upgrade anything on that bike.

The 610's are counter-balanced and built more for road-going than the others. It's still lighter than mostfactory dual-sports. The others are literally dirt-bikes with lights andobviously lighter than the 610. The 510 is supposedly a beast and too much for tight trails. The KLX250S might be the better bike for going furtherdown the road reliably compared to the TE-250, 450 and 510 but the Husky's are pure DP-lust.

Man, am I living in the past or what. Last thing I new, Husky was a Swedish brand. I'm seriously dating myself here.

1979 marked the passage of Husqvarna to Electrolux which maintained control until 1986, when the motorcycle division was sold to the Cagiva Group. Since then, Husqvarna motorcycles have been conceived, designed, and created entirely in Italy. This new course brought a gust of technological innovation that married a prestigious manufacturer with a premiere brand.
