Default chargin battery

Well, my bike won't start, drained my battery so now i gotta charge it. I 'm at work today, found a charger. Anyhow, my options include 12v 2amp, 12v 15 amp, 12v 125 amp. My battery says 12v 6amp. I currently have it charge on 12v 2amp. I assure it's a trickle charge. I have to take it off the charger when I go on a run, but i would like to get it charged so maybe I could get my bike to start. I'm going to start looking for a drill bit to get the choke ciruit to work. It pisses me off, brand new bike, 1 mile on it and I can't get it to start.

2 amp for that battery is just right.

Once the bike does fire up, it will charge the battery for you.

Get er drilled! It works.

An hour give or take. It may have enough to fire the bike up sooner.

The bike and operator need a chance to get to know each other. Once you know the bike it will start better for you.

Go buy yourself a Battery Tender motorcycle charger. It's a smart charger and only costs around $30 .... it will easily pay for itself over time. Just plug and play.

+1 And you can just leave it on without worry of overcharging.

The lower amp ratings are best for our small battery's. I use a 50W solar panel with charge regulator to charge all my 12V batteris. Puts out 3 Amps on a good day and tops off the KLX battery in about 30 minutes or less.

We all have our beliefs. I think the motorcycle should be the same as my car. Jump on and fire that mother up. I charge all 3 motorcycle batteries once or twice a winter and start them once around january. They will all start in the spring. If not something is wrong and I need to fix it. In the original posters situation the something wrong is fix the frikkin choke! The battery did its job till it died, the choke did not.
