One of these in a 48 tooth.
One of these in a 14 tooth.
All tied together with one of these in "Bling, Bling" gold.
You'll need a 110 link chain for the 14/48 combo. It's a 520 gauge chain.

RE: Change out sprockets
If your front sprocket is in good shape, I would just get a 48 or 49 tooth for the rear. It will give you about the same ratio as 13/45 and in theory should have less wear on the chain since you are not going around the smaller 13 tooth sprocket. You will also get to keep the rubber dampner with the stock front sprocket.
Either way you still have to get a new chain. 13 tooth only in the front and you can use the stock chain.

RE: Change out sprockets
i used a brand called PBI sprockets both front and rear. they are available from a supplier called western powersports which most shops can order from. i went with 13 front and 47 rear after trying 45 originally. now i'm where i want to be. WestOz, i know renthal makes a rear sprocket for us, but i've never heard of a front. do you have a p/n? i used a longer chain, and went with EK, as the stocker was an EK. the chain corroded immediately even though i keep it properly lubed (and the chain too). i would use PBI sprockets again, however i think i'd try a different brand chain.

Take a look at the White Brothers rear sprocket. I just replaced myOEM sprocket with one of these and wasshocked at how much lighter the White Bros. was compared to the stocker. The price is right and the look tremendous. Check ebay for the one you want.

RE: Change out sprockets
Hi all,
I seem to be a minority in that I want to change my sprocket combo for the opposite result as everyone here. I want to go with 15T front and 38 or 39T rear. Does anyone make this, and what size chain would I need to do this? I found one sprocket here in Japan that is 39T but it costs almost $80.00!! Any help is appreciated.
