Default Chain roller help

Sorry for the stupid question but I'm new to this bike and dirt riding - I've been a street guy. I have a 2006 KLX250 and bought a Moose Racing sealed chain roller but can't find the spot on the bike where the factory one is. Someone help a brother out and point out where it is or maybe it doesn't use this type?

Thanks

The original roller probably died and wasn't replaced. On the '06 for sure, it was located on the seat stay well above the chain. There should be a hole that the roller's bolt goes through...or...there may just be a sheared off bolt still stuck in there. Some don't realize how rough a life that roller endures under full and near full rear suspension compression.

Found it. Looks like a cat turd at this point in it's life. I'm replacing my chain/sprockets with a Sprocketcenter combo deal...13t front, stock rear, RK 520 O ring chain. I read somewhere that the stock front sprocket has a collar and aftermarket ones don't. What's the scoop?
Cheers-

Don't overtighten your chain. If you want to know the correct slack, while the wheel is loose and with plenty of slack, tie the rear end down over the seat to compress it until the wheel axle, swing arm pivot bolt, and counter shaft are in line. Adjust the chain until you have about 1-1.5" slack about half way back the run. Tighten the axle and release the swing arm or whatever you have pulling it down. Check the chain play, Kawasaki has you do that at the back of the chain slider on the swing arm. That is how much minimum play should be in your chain. It is better to be a bit loose than too tight.
