Center Stand

Center Stand
I never thought I would miss having a center stand.
Anyone know how to go about installing a center stand with or without the side stand.
I find doing even the most basic of tasks annoying with only the side stand.

Are you drunk??? this bike weights too much as it sits and you to ADD another 8 .lbs? wtf are you thinking?.......go get a bike stand. it'll cost about $80 and won't add an once to your bike.
this one here is what i would buy if i didn't already have a bike stand.

For all the nay sayer's.....I bet I could make one out of aluminium that weighs less than the stock kickstand.
I really like center stands.

I live in an old apartment without a garage or even a driveway.
A hydraulic lift is not really an option.
Right now I use a forklift at work on Saturdays or at night.
How are you guys fixing flats (or whatnot) when you are away from the garage?
Are you just laying the bike down?

You dont need a full blown hydraulic stand, I just have a simple sissor lift stand. Out in the bush use the sidestand and a stick or rock, park it on a stump, use your imagination.

Field repair on a rental bike in Costa, notice the piece of wood and kickstand technique.
Another example on the same trip but the front tire.
