Damn the man. Hope that thing gets fixed. Nice looking bike! Wish I had some input but I'm useless in the carb dept.

I think it happened after the bike went over, probably just knocked the needle & seat out of alignment again

That shouldn't be happening. I've flipped a carbed bike end over end with no damage, to the carb. Should be able to be layed out or almost upside down. If the bike does get rubber side up though expect gas and other fluids to come out! But nothing to worry about, it happens. Just check your fluids after if anything besides gas comes out. Does the bike leak just sitting upright in the garage?

It's kinda strange, on a flat level surface it doesn't leak much, but if I have it standing on the kickstand in neutral or if there's a slight lean it seems to leak out more, occasionallypouring out like a constant stream, but I haven't seen it streaming out since the new needle & seat were done.

There is an overflow so if you drop the bike fuel will leak out of it. once the bike is upright it should stop within a few seconds, sounds like what happened? Where abouts do you ride?

Yeah, I would think it should stop within a few seconds like you say, it's hard to know for sure, sometimes it just keeps flowing until I shut down thefuel & other times it sorts itself out. Guess I should take it for a proper ride & decide then. I ride on a property at hydes creek which borders state forest, it's about 300 acres & has bush trails as well as some open hilly areas with creek crossings, not bad riding but I'm still a newby, at least it's been about 10 years since I've ridden. How about yourself, know any good places around coffs?
