Carb vent T mod?
I am new to the KLX250s world, just bought a new to me 2009. It was completely stock.
I seen mention a few times about a carb vent T mod.
Can someone please explain to me how that is done?
Thanks in advance for any and all info.

There are two clear vent lines - one on each side - coming out of the carb and ending near the rear shock. What you want to do is add the "T" shaped fitting into them so that you can add some additional hose and route it higher up on the bike.
This way the carb can still breathe while the vent lines near the shock are underwater, but any fuel droplets venting from the carb can still exit down by shock as normal.

OTTKLX Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your KLX. Where do you ride in the area? Most of my riding is in Papineau Labelle starting near Buckingham with some dirt roads throw in around Westport. I live in the east end so not alot of trails nearby. Good luck!

I'm in the west end. This will be my first season riding trails so I do not have any favorite spot yet, but heard a lot about the Calabogie area.
Would like if you wanted to show me some trails.

Unfortunately not rear familiar with the west end as I live in Orleans. Have ridden some trails around Calabogie (K&P) but sounds like a great area to ride in. Would be glad to take you into Papineau Labelle north of Buckingham once the trails dry up. Easy park roads and some smaller trails that are fun. We can touch base in a month or so as my KLX is still burried in the shed, this warmer weather should help. Thanks Frank
