carb removal

Default carb removal

can't anything on carb removal in the manual ...


is it just ...
un screw the engine and air boot
on hook throttle cable
un plug any hoses
... and its out?

Easier said than done, don't forget to take the tank off.

Have you downloaded the service manual? pg 3-14 has detailed instructions. It's basically what you described above.

u guys are too slow
already took it off cleaned it and reinstalled

but ur right was the easiest thing ever ...way easier than I imagined.
the boots were a bit of a pita tho ...not that bad

I have been following a manual (2009 250s / D tracker ) from another website for engine repair and what not...
had something on "fuel injection"... so I figured was for a fuel injected KLX, if an 09 fuel injected klx exists...


Today I found the one on this website , still couldn't find anything on the carb. even in the "fuel system" section
