Default Carb leak

My '07's CV carb is leaking somewhere....I am thinking it's from the union where the plastic carb inlet thingy meets the brass piece that's pressed into the carb; though i had the carb off and could not see any cracks at all..

It seems to be a problem on the CV Harley Keihin CV carbs of similar size. I haven't found anything about it happening on KLXs-though it's the same inlet design

I've already bought a new brass inlet. Some of the Harley guys just break the plastic part off and put the fuel line on the existing brass

Anyone had a carb leak at the inlet?

I just looked at my reserve hose and it was full of cracks.

Changed it and I'll see if there's still weeping on the carb

Nope it was the float bowl gasket.

Some RTV careful applied to the outer edge of the float bowl fixed it

My TM36-68 showed up 3 days ago

Aren't you going to thank all of the people on here who helped you sort this problem out ?

Seriously though, good job, glad you got it figured out.
