I was thinking that an aftermarket exhaust may contribute to the sub frame failures. Most aftermarket mufflers use only one or maybe two spots that bolt up. The stock klx250 or klx300 use three bolt locations and the muffler becomes part of the structure integrity of the sub frame, triangulates the sub frame. Just a thought.
