Can I remove coolant overflow?

Thanks for your input guy's.
Basically I have these agri tool tubes and I was just tying to fit one permanently with a 21inch tube, irons, patch kit and CO2. That way I've got all my flat tyre fix in one permanent solution, even for short trips.
At the moment I have a Kriega 5L replacing the tail bag with tool roll and spares. I carry a tube in my jacket, and have the irons bolted to the inside of the rear subframe.
I need to keep the back fairly clean to fit my GL coyote bag, so the coolant puke tank might be going.

I actually needed the overflow this weekend. Hit a stump with the left radiator. Bent it to **** and had a slight leak. Was able to make it the 20 mile ride home with out having to fill it up. It sucked the overflow dry. With out it I would have been stranded on the side of the trail waiting for water.

Exactly. I have my Vapor set to signal the yellow lamp at 205F and the red lamp at 210F. Both well before the stock over-heat indicator lam. At this weekend's rider's safety field day, the bikes there were getting very hot and some were having problems, but they didn't know how hot (those poor air-cooled HDs). The KLX heated up (to above 210) and with the Vapor, I knew right where it was at, and the fan kicked on and did its job.
