Can I Fit!!! 2009 Kawasaki KLX250SF
Was just wondering if i would if a 2009 kawasaki klx250sf im 14 years old 5'4 and 125 pounds i wanted to buy a bike like this to take offroad i love the look of the bike and the price is not to bad if you find them used. I have experience with dirt bikes not the best but i know all the basics and can drive them well i drove a ttr 125l a few times and do drive a few diffrent bikes but the biggest bike i drove was a 125 so i dont know how i would fit this bike i know i could shift it well and handle the power but height wise and weight wise im not very sure i know i could get lowering links but weight wise i dont know if it would be to heavy or not cause i am going to do alot of offroading but how harsh of offroading on a scale of 1 to 10 i think about a 4-5 is the highest and how harsh the terrains would be, and i would change the tires to a 50/50 duel tread, so if someone could get back to me i would love to hear from you and what you have to say thanks!

My son run my 09 klx250s in for me when he was 14 1/2, have you sat on a klx yet? that will tell you if it fixes you or not.
You can fit lowering links and slid the forks though the triples 5 or 10mm to low things for you and as you will grow more rise the bike in a year or two.
good luck.

I am 5'11" 180 Lbs. and I have a TTR125L also. I love riding the TTR in the dirt. the KLX is way heavy especially in real tight single track trails compared to the TTR. I am cramped on the TTR but it is so short and light it is real fun to ride. I think the TTR has more low end toque then the KLX and that makes it a lot easier to ride slow.

I am 5'4'' as well and I was worried about the seat height being too much to handle. After about 2 weeks it was no problem. You just have to find out what works best for you when its time to stop or put a foot down. I say go for it.

Size and weight-wise, I think a lighter bike would be a much better fit for you. The ONLY reason I don't mind how heavy the KLX is, is because making it street-legal comes at a price (extra weight). At your age, that's of no benefit to you.
