Mine's GREEN!!! Dealer had 2 red,one green. And only getting 3 more for the rest of the year.Said there was a limited production for 09? Maybe just Calif?
I like the red too.It is different than the Honda red.Now if I had bought my son a Honda,I'd have had an excuse to buy the red Kawi. But he got a green KLX 110,so..........I had to go green!!! But not like Al Gore.
What brand exhaust does everyone prefer???? I'm gonna open a hornets nest.

^^^^ Really, limited production eh? Hmm, thats interesting, I wonder if thats to encourage the remaining 07s to go out the door? Can anyone verify this? Any reason why? Seems to me like they are a hot seller as every dealership ive called has them on waiting list, but then again, its new so go figure...

maybe they're only making a limited supply early in the year, and then when the '09's are really supposed to be out, they'll go into full production in August and beyond. Just a guess.

Well, hopefully you will get some reviews over there soon. I have read 3 full write-ups in Japanese magazines and by all three accounts the new bike is is more dirt worthy in every respect. My personal calculator says thatcovers more than+/- 5%
I hear ya on the power though. I really wish they would have put EFI on the stateside version because power commander would come-up with a mapping program pronto. Japanese companies move too darn slow on such things. The mag's already measured a 2hp increase over the carbureted model, so imagine what a power commander and more free flowing exhaust would do!

outside of the suspension and the shorter 6th gearwhat has really changed? they did nothing to get more power (which is the one area they should have adressed). i'm gonna go out on a limb here and guess that the 08/09 is no better. +/- say 5%.
i'dlike to see it be a better bike for all the guys who waited but i just don't see it happening.

with my limited off road riding i will put in my 2cents. Rode my 09 yesterday for about 2 hours on dirt (whoops, tiny jumps, burms, etc). Had fun. I am not skilled enough yet to give details on how this bike fares in teh dirt but I had a great time. I felt confident, good enough power for now (stock) and nice handling. I did dump it a few times but nothing major. Looking forward to all the mods I ordered to really toss some juice into this thing.
