Buying used bike tonight, what to look for....??

Yes, that helps for sure. I do plan to install the kick start kit. I know it's pricey, but where I ride, if battery ever dies, no way would I be able to push start. I ride in deep soft sand 90% of the time. Plus, I can't run, and have trouble getting on the bike, even if I was on harder terrain. For me, it's worth almost the $500 bucks or whatever it is.
As far as making the link myself, for $88 bucks shipped for adjustable turnbuckle type, I'll just order it and have it in 3 days, done deal. Don't have the time to run around buying stuff to make one up. Thanks for the option and idea though.
