Why ask why?

Why what?

Because it's fun? My tire is done anyway, it's unsafe to ride with it especially on trails. I'm going to an offroad park on Sunday and I'm putting on a new rear tire. I'm giving the old one a send off...that's why. Forgive my local euphemism for describing the tire as "toast". I assumed most knew what that meant.

Now that someone mentioned it, I can't imagine the initial wear on the clutch is any worse than some of the uphill trails I've done. Bouncing off the rev limiter is bad...I knew that. Once I secure a new tire I'll go destroy a few fire ant hills in the back yard.

And what does SpeedVision have to do with this?

Some of the burnouts on this site are bad for their bikes...but they are still all good people. LOL!

It's only ok for the bike if you get video of it and post it here!
Other than that, if there's no video, it's for sure not worth it! ha.
I can't see it being harder on the clutch than making a quick acceleration from start, or doing a wheelie, or starting on a hill..
Only thing it's hard on is the rear tire IMO. And yours is junk, go for ittttt!!!

I went for a ride in a low 40 degree rainy day today....I sat behind a car at a stop light and smoked my rear tire up a bit to get some heat into it before I went riding through town.......Burnem up and put tacks/spikes in them for winter.........
