Why yes I did take it all apart just to see that it could be done from the out side. Oh well, it is done now and checked the pick~up screen[clean]. New 50/50 coolant and new brake pads. Going to change the oil and filter to night.

Yeah,,, that sucks that you had to figure it out the long way. As a small consolation, you can rest assured that I won't forget the correct way to do it, if I ever need to change mine out.
