Default Brief ride report

Superb day for trail riding yesterday.
Cool, cloudy and no dust.

Entered the dirt just outside Mundaring and basically headed east until the trails ran out and we hit the farms.
Then we hit the tar on the way home as Doug had to take his son to the airport.

My friends were wise to let me go first as this turned out to be waaayy deeper than I thought.

And here is a video of it along with Doug crashing and then showing off with a wheelie or 2. Quality isn't great but still.

I had done the carby vent mod and was annoyed the bike stalled on me.
I did a quick check and the vent hose on the rhs of the carb had come into contact with the exhaust and had melted in half.
Maybe that caused the stall.
Oh well. it fired up after a few goes without draining the battery so its all good.

All in all a top morning.
The tracks out that way are great this time of year.
Plenty of recent rain but no rain on the day.
Can be a bit slippery but thats OK.
Dual sporting GOLD.

Next time we will stay out all day and possibly use Ridley Rd to get back to Sawyers Valley.

Nah, I stopped right in the middles and then managed to push it to where you see it before the camera was produced. Just couldn't push it all the way. It was just too slippery under foot. I did manage to drag it up on the side though.
Twice

Yeh Doug's a tough nut.
No real damage done.

Haha great video! I hate crossing mud holes that you really have no idea how deep they are sometimes lol. Just yesterday I crossed one that wasn't that deep at first glance, but it had deep tire ruts from trucks going through that you couldn't tell at all they were there. Next you know it I'm riding through and back tire falls in it and I'm on my side full of mud

That is one of the best video and hosting sites I ever saw. You could drag back and forth like it was an editing machine. Thanks man.

I assume its only for people using the VIO helmet cam.
Either way, it's always good to catch a crash on video.
Well when its not you that is.
