RE: Bridgestone E660 Rear Tire
Ha ha, here's HardTaco on that hill - sorry, Josh, you know I have to post this.

Here are the two guys that chickened out and went back the way we came. The first one made it, the second had some trouble. While not shown on this clip the first one came back down and attempted the steep hill but didn't make it, so he went back the other way for a second time, but didn't have as much luck that time around. Anyway, thought you all would enjoy the clips.

RE: Bridgestone E660 Rear Tire
I did it, really. Yeah, that's the ticket.
I stared it down first, though. After seeing Hardtaco lose it at the top I was a little concerned because he's a darn good rider. I attribute my success to my new Bridgestone - it took me up with little drama, just a little wheelie at the top. The problem with that hill is there is no run-up. In the photo above, that's all the room you have. I was standing in the briars when I shot that clip and took the photo.
The only other time I'd seen that hill was from the top and I don't if it's an optical illusion or what, but that kicker near the top looks like its straight up and down. I said there's no fookin way I'm going down that, it looks like you'd endo for sure. But after going up it, it's not that bad. First time jitters I guess. Hardtaco said we could make it - he was right, as usual. I still wouldn't want to go down it, though. Up, ok. Down, frack that. Then again, it's probably just a case of doing it once. Get that first time out of the way and then it's easy after that.
