Brake Pedal Too Small

Brake Pedal Too Small
The brake pedal on my '07 KLX250H is a little smaller than I'd like. In other words, I'd like it to be about 1/2 to 3/4 inch wider (at the point where the boot contacts the pedal) to make it easier to "find" by feel. It's not a major problem, just an annoyance. Has anyone else had this problem, and, if so, what did you do about it? (I mostly ride dirt roads and paved roads - some trails.) Thanks!

I think a competent welder with good materials could do a fine job. We'll buy those cheap Chinese welded foot pegs from ebay and stand on them over jumps. Just a fraction of that force gets applied to a brake lever. Just don't ask me to do the welding because I can't!
I also think your work on the rear footrests is great. Have they held up? Even if the weld failed, the passenger should still have a good portion of their foot on the main peg.
