Ok good, so at least I can tell people that it does have the quiet core. I didn't want to be lying to people.

Hey deej, your quiet core looks a little bit shorter than the one that came with my oval muzzy. But I'm sure it works the same!

Thanks, I will pick up the quiet core and see if it makes a difference. I already bought the DJ kit, so I guess we can stick with that, what jet are you guys using? He was thinking 128? I thought I would pick up the 13t front sprocket for Fathers Day... By the way deej, I noticed you are from Washington, where do you get your bike worked on? Thanks

I wish my wife would be so willing to get me parts for my bike. I just usually get this face when I tell her I am getting something new for the bike.

The older style muzzys were the round type, the newer ones are oval. Not really sure if there is a sound difference between the two.

P.A. Power Equipment is where I got my KLX and the wife's XT 225. It's in Port Angeles. Here is a map to where I am located. Where are you guys at?

We bought the KLX from RMC in Renton, but every other bike we have ever had came from PA Power. Bought the Muzzy and the Dj kit from them for hubbys bday 2 weekends ago from them, too.

My Muzzy with quiet core is just right. No near annoying loud. MHO. My Buell is much louder with it's stock pipe.
