Hi Guys,

I was wondering if someone knows of any hand-guards other than the Acerbis that have blinkers on them? I thought I saw some posted here but I can no longer find the thread.. I was also looking for a break down of what is needed to get the rear fender looking MX with a smaller brake light, blinkers and plate holder in one.

My blinkers and plastics were damaged after it fell over (

 

Yea the thread got lost in the shuffle, here you go. Maybe someone here can remember how all of this went together, I mean I did all of the mods listed in the links, but I am so busy plus I got 50 hrs overtime in this last week so I'm still playing catchup on sleep.

I saw your acerbis guards with the blinkers and they looked cool as they had some additonal protection compared to the one in this picture http://www.cyclepages.com/ProductGro...roupID=4002724.

Would that extra protection be the "spoilers"
How hard is it to wire those?

 

Oh.. i forgot to say thanks.. Are those hand guards a direct fit? Do I need different bars or levers?

My Acerbis guards work great. My wife dumped the bike and the ball on the brake broke off but the handguard was fine. Just dusted the thing off and off I went. I will post some pics of it later..

 

When i was looking at hand Gard's i saw some by UFO they came in Lot's of different colors but i liked the Acerbis the most.

while i can appreciate ur quest to spiff up the cosmetics i just wanna drop my 2 cents here... b4 u go out and grab those shiny nice lookin integrated blinkers, take a minute or two and think about the fact that ur turn signal visibility wil be almost nil (not to mention that theirs a big possibility ur bike wont even pass inspection depending on ur state). i was going to go with the smaller rears and brushguard integrated front blinkers, but after some thought i came to the conclusion i dont want to be some1's hood ornament......

Good points. I decided to replace my damaged plastic and blinkers(bike fell in parking lot) with stock parts. Although I decided for different reasons.. your reasons are even better.
