Default blackening rear fender...?

Hey guys i have to big gun and i pretty much run with the quiet core out all the time, but this issue i think would apply with it in also. I was washing it and getting all the muddy water out of my air box...mud hole was a little deeper than it looked...hehe. anyways i noticed that the back fender on the exhaust side is gettin a little black from the exhaust has anyone else noticed that? Does that mean anything? ( runnin to rich or anything?)

You might be running a little rich. I don't have any black on the fender out of my Muzzy, but maybe the outlet is closer the the plastics than mine.

Sounds like your running rich .... either that or your bike is burning oil.

I have the big race series exhaust without the quiet core and no fender discolor of any kind. i would have to agree about the running rich.

I would say it's rich. Try dropping your needle a slot. That will lean-out the mid-range, and keep the top-end at the same mix as it is now.
