Got the steel braided front brake line from Bill yesterday and put it on tonight. i noticed a huge difference. it is definately worth it. i couldn't be happier with how much better the front brake works now.the fit is perfect.this is astaight up remove replace job. getting it bled right is a bit of a chore but it's soooo worth it.

it replaces the entire line. unbolt the top unbolt the bottom and remove the stock line. we bolted up the bottom filled the line until there was fluid coming out the top banjo bolt then bolted the top banjo on and bled the line until there was no air in the resevoir. it took a while to figure this out but once we did it went smoothly.

Hmmm, there seems to be one thing missing from this writeup....
HOW did you end up bleeding the line? What was the procedure? Do you recommend this for the novice home garage mechanic?

If you search the Internet there a quite a few different tricks for brake bleeding. I struggled with mine as well. What has worked for mewith a new line is to push the fluid up from the bottom with a large syringe until everything is full. Then do the normal break bleed method. I use one of those short hoses with a check valve in the middle.A $50.00 hand vacuum pump looks like it would make the job real easy.
