Default Bike would not idle

Bike would not idle without choke on. Replaced the dryrotted "help" caps, didn't really help. Then searched the forum for help. I then drained the carb bowl, sprayed carb cleaner everywhere I could get to inside carb, reattached carb and secured boots. Then re-set air screw, somones else had their air screw back-out. Started up on choke, about 15 seconds later closed choke and she was idling fine. I will take it out for a ride one day this week since it was getting late tonight. I will update if I have more problems with this issue.

Sounds like you got enough carb cleaner into the carb to clear the pilot jet which is usually the cause of the symptom you had. I've gotten lucky a time or two with that process and didn't require a full carb removal and clean. I usually use Chemtool B12, and it works fairly well.
