If you permanently disconnect the switch you will probably have to jumper the switch out somewhere along the circuit. I believe the clutch switch closes when the clutch is pulled in, therefore if you want to remove the switch and start your bike in gear you'll have to install a jumper (paperclip or splice the wires upstream should do). Check the kawi manual they give you the contact layouts of all the brake, clutch, kickstand, switches.

Edit: a quick look through the manual, Kawi refers to that clutch switch as the starter lockout switch, and it closes when the clutch is pulled in, therefore you'll need to jumper the wires together to defeat it!
