Question Bike won't start???

I have a 2006 KLX250s and started her up last night, she started fine. Was idling fine then I jumped on to go and she died. Hit the starter and nothing. Just a loud clicking noise. Battery always on a tender. I took off side panel and checked all connections. Full gas tank. Hit starter and only loud clicking, seems to be coming from little black box, igniter? on part list. Any ideas anyone? Mahalo in advance!

The loud clicking sounds like it is coming from the starter relay. Check the relay's connections to make sure they are tight also.

Sounds like the battery died anyway. See if it starts with a jump.

hey im having the same problem... i have not started it up in a few months and it's been sitting out in the cold... im so pissed at myself for not keeping it warm and starting it a few times a week over the winter...

anyway, i was trying to jump start it and it still makes that loud clicking noise? the lights work and everything so i know it's not my battery...

any suggestions? i dont know very much about working on bikes, but i can do the simple basics... how would i go about checking the relay connections and what have you... or just help me with the diagnosis... thank you and good day kind sir's.

Just had my battery checked and it was dead. Fully charged but low amps. Got a new one and she started right up. Mahalo!
