Rode about 30 miles stopped for gas turn the key on hit the start button the starter clicked and nothing, no dash lights no juice in the battery.
Battery was new 10-7-17 and wouldn't take a charge in the bike seemed to take charge on the bench. Bump started and rode it home, headlight dim and blinkers worked and flashed in the dash the blue light for Hi beam showed in the dash also. Engine ran good on way home tried to charge batt when I got to the shop the trickle chargers didn't do any thing the batt shows 10 volts after being on the trickle charger for 2 hours.
Also the horn didn't work.

any ideas are welcome, turnsleft

Sounds like your battery is toast. Happened to my battery this summer as well. Working one minute, dead the next.
Mine was the original battery from 2009 so can't complain.

Replaced the ignition switch and bike fired up!

Side note - originally I thought the ignition switch was the start button. So when I said I had tested that above and concluded it was good I really meant the solders were good inside the start button housing.

Yep, the battery was toast. Got a new one as it had a year guarantee. Strange that it ran 40 miles home it must have a separate system for the engine/ignition?

On another note the Krieger cam chain tensioner works great.

Default bike has fi light on after killing with switch

Hey guys i’m not sure how make my own post so i’m just replying to this one but.. I’m having a problem when I start my bike and ride it for however long then kill it with the switch the red Fi light comes on and when i go to start it back up it just seems to crank. Then I turn the key off and on the bike fires right up but has a low idle. It is a 2019 klx250. it has an ejk and fmf q4 on it. Could it be a problem with the EJK??
SOS!! any help would be greatly appreciate
