Default Bike won’t start. Electrical issue? :(

Some context.

Last weekend I dumped my bike multiple times up on elephant hill. Bent the shifter which then bent the bolt return spring. When I got back on the bike, I noticed the headlight not tail light was working anymore also. Bike sat for a week as I waited for parts. Yesterday I was able to change the bolt return spring and found the busted ignition* fuse in the fuse box. Replaced it with the spare the klx250 comes with.

Headlights and tailight was back on! Ride it for about 20 minutes. During the ride, I noticed when a relative was on the bike, the headlight would dim down when they would hold the clutch in and brighten up to normality when released. Didn’t think anything of it.

Bike sat for an hour.

Went back to start it and nothing would fire up. No lights. No dash. Nothing. Checked all the fuses - 10a, 20a, 30a. All good. Took the rectifier out. I’ve read Theoretically the bike should start up and run til the battery would drain but no, the Bike still wouldn’t start up. Bought a lithium battery. Still nothing. Tested the rectifier w a voltmeter and that’s good also. Checked the ground running from the negative to the crankcase and that’s also good.

Feeling pretty defeated right about. I don’t know what else to test.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Assuming your battery has juice, check all your grounds and your ignition switch maybe.

Would a grounding issue effect the rectifier diagnosis?

Dont see how it would, you just tested the diodes in the rectifier yes? Like you said bike should run until the battery dies without the rectifier.
If the battery has power and the ignition works then you must have a break in the circuit somewhere. If it was a short you would be seeing blow fuses. Basically your going to have to test from the battery forward to find out where that break is. Sorry I know that's not really helping lol

Update.

Tested the main relay relay and the solenoid and those are also good.

Power is present on the bike. It flows to front end and back end. im starting to think maybe my key ignition is busted? Because like I said, when I turn the key to ON position, nothing powers up.

My bike is at a friends and I won’t be able to test the key ignition til tomorrow.

Anyone ever have a key ignition issue similar to this?

It sounds to me like the ignition wiring might have been partially unplugged or damaged by dumping it and then vibration while running unplugged it or damaged it the rest of the way.

Are all my symptoms results of a failed ignition coil/ spark?
