Bike is way better Now!!!!
Well I just installed my new Big Gun with the Quiet Core and it is not loud at all to me anyway. I used a Dyno Jet Kit and did 2.5 turns on the screw / 124 Main / Stock Piolet/ used supplied needle and it was a skinny one put clip on the 4th from the top the bike had no spacer with the stock needle. The directions said if it had one stock use it if not don't. I used the high flow snorkel with stock air cleaner/ 1/2" vent in the airbox/ Took off all the smog crap. And the bike runs great I put 5 miles on it I live at 400' above sea level. It pulls hard and smooth all the way to 10,000 and no popping on deceleration
The plug looks good and it idles perfect rev's fast and drops back to idle fast. I have piped and rejetted a lot of atvs and bikes this thing was spot on first try I will put some miles on it and see how it does but so far so good
Its not like a 450 dirt bike it won't kill the guy behind you with rocks but a lot better than it was in stock form that is for sure.
I will say the Dyno Jet needle with the clip in the 4th notch was about 1/4 farthe up into the carb or up into the needle jet so with how thin it was before it taper I went with the 124 main . It said with a pipe and the air box lid removed start with a 128 main and 3rd notch on the needle. So I figures since I used the lid go with 124 and 4th notch seems to work.These directions are always just a starting point I thought I would have to change it at least 3 times to get where it is now.

I just rode it about 20 miles and I'm not sure I can get it to run any better I think I will give the packing in the pipe time to do what it does and I think it will be perfect. It pulls hard and has lean pop anytime and idles perfect , starts with choke then push it in in about 30 secs and it has good response at that point.
