Bike stalls at 2000 rpm and now won’t idle

Sorry for the delay I was on vacation. Got back and today I tried everything suggested. Screwed the pilot jet in snug, got the metal plug off the idle mix screw, took that out, sprayed air and then carb cleaner down that hole, recleaned the rest of the carb, sprayed air through everything. Put it all back together and nothing is better. Still the same issue.
I took a video of what exactly is happening. This is after about 5 minutes of warm up. I tried to get my throttle hand but missed. The throttle stays stationary, I’m not backing off it when you hear the revs drop. It idles fine but as soon as I give it gas and it gets to 2000-3000 RPM is dies. I can kind of goose the throttle and get it above 4000 and it revs up there fine.

Idle mix screw how many turns out? Usually a good starting place for the needle is 2.5 then do the routine to find the mid point of the sweet spot.
You also still might have crud in the pilot circuit. Per experience at a dealership I can tell you just spraying things out doesn't cut it all the time. Using a carb washer or an ultrasonic cleaner usually can work out the gummy junk and dissolve/work out solid stuff.

Mix screw is at 2.5 turns out. I’m borrowing the carb brushes from a friend tomorrow. I can get in there again on Wednesday and give it a hard cleaning. Don’t really have access to a ultrasonic cleaner. Also gonna take the fuel line off the carb and check the fuel filter in there.

Thats weird you say that because I just read that might be the issue on another forum. Looked inside and you’re right, it’s missing. I’ll order that and reassemble when the part is in.

Was actually working on it in my garage, that was outside the door where i was spraying the carb cleaner. And that was two weeks after the initial cleaning that I found it. And who I did or didn't vote for has no relevance here. But that you asked a question like that does say a lot about you.

I left an oil injection part out of my old TM125 Suzuki... caused slow-mo seizure. Couldn't figure out why. Found the little plastic tab on the floor below the bench where I built the engine. Bummer. And I voted twice for Pat Paulson back in the 70s!
