Wow!!! That bike looks great. Congrats on the new ride. Looks like you won't be riding the KLX as much?

The KLX will always get the duty when the road turns to off road and back again. The FJR ain't going anywhere near gravel or dirt

This is the only one I have so far.

Marty, if the new Kawi is faster, you're going to need a space suit ;-) The FJR FLYS!!!

Todd,

Hey, it's got to be . . . . . it's a Kawasaki!

Ain't it cool to jump off the KLX250S and on to the FJR1300 or something with similar horsepower like my ZRX1200? You really need to be careful and make yourself understand there is a whole lot more power between your legs at this point!

Kinda puts a smile on your face - from ear to ear!

I'm just waiting to see the new GTR1400 - it's another "Kawasaki Make-From" model! Took the engine and tranny from the ZX-14, you know the one that makes 200 horses? [sm=bounceybounce.gif]

I understand the plan is to "de-tune it" say to about 160 or 165 horsepower! [sm=happybounce.gif]

H'mmm a sport-touring bike that has more power than a liter class sportbike? Only from Kawasaki folks!

Don't worry Marty, while the FJR is far and away the most powerful bike I've owned, it's not the only high performance steed I've spent time on. My BMW was over 100 hp. This FJR is awesome and I'm taking it very easy while I get the hang of it.

I did kinda get a chuckle the first time I looked down and realized I was doing TWICE the speed limit on the highway and thinking I was going 60 or so
