I'm not going, but the Wabeno ride was just highly recomended to me by another rider I met at the Theilman MN ride yesterday. From what he said it sounds like you will really have fun, maybe I'll plan to do it next year. Right now I need a break, Riding at Theilman this weekend with a bunch of enduro riders wore me and the bike out Gotta rest up and fix things before the Bucky in Madison on Oct 23rd. Have a great time, be safe, take pics, and give us a report when you get back.

I think we're going to do the Bucky ride too.

Cool beans! There were at least 4 KLX's that rode it last year. Holler at me if you see me there.

Remember it's pre-register only. Has to be in by Oct 10 or before 150 others sign up.

The Big Woods ride was a hoot! Met a lot of awesome people and got some great riding in. I also got some scary/bad riding in. Some of those Hero Sections royally kicked my ***. The nice thing is you don't have to go on them if you don't want to. Next time I'm staying on the regular route and let the young, skinny people go bash themselves to bits on the slippery rocks. The regular route had its challenges like there was one section that was about a mile of a flooded road anywhere from a few inches deep to a few feet deep. The steak dinner was fantastic. They fed us a big, fat ribeye. Breakfast was great too. They fed us a chili lunch on Saturday too. It was a really fun time. The fall colors up there are going strong too. There were several KLXs I saw there. A few KDXs too. Even saw 2 Super Serpas. No KLR650s though. LOTS of orange and blue bikes. Now it's time to sign up for the bucky ride.
