Yes the Big Gun Evo is a much better pipe than the old model it looked kinda cheap IMO[] I have 1200 miles on mine now and I do very little WOT and just ride around on back country roads 25 mph to 45mph at times I go 70 or 80 but just short distance. I inspected my packing and Vortex which came in the exhaust and it has no signs of wear. From looking at the pics of a race core and quiet core is there a big differance in them? There both a pipe with holes in them and just leave a big hole back to the spark arrester. I don't no but I would like to try both BUT if my bike is jetted for the Vortex and I open it up with a quiet core the tune up will change.... As always you can't have it both ways unless we get EFI

I didn't sound overly loud in your video; just a nice deep throaty sound. I probably wouldn't want to be warming it up next to my neighbor at 6:00AM though. I imagine it's around 100db at 4000 RPM with just the race core.

I just use the Vortex that came with it and use the spark arester screen that set up works fine I see no need for the quiet core the pipe is not that loud
