'Q' Series would be FMF. As Slap Drum said, 2 Bros is loud. I bet it will give the BG a run for the money in the noise department.

I got a FMF Q4 muffler this last summer, and I love it. It bolted right on to the stock header. It wasn't obscenely loud, but had had a real nice thump to it. I took the spark arrestor out for a while but that made it too loud for my taste, so it is possible to make it louder.

I did some looking on the net, and from what I read the Q4 was supposed to be one of the quieter options. I didn't want something too loud, because I didn't want to annoy people around the areas I ride. Some of which I'm not supposed to be in.
I'm sure there are more, but I have only read about one member on here that wasn't happy with FMF. He got a powerbomb header he wasnt happy with. I think it worked fine, but the finish was in bad shape right out of the box.
Good luck

Thanks!!I'll look into the FMF Q4. What amazes me is how expensive exhausts are for bikes. I could do my whole exhaust on my truck for that.

Yeah it's a rip-off. Really not much to any of the mufflers. They shouldn't be so high. Here's a funny story. The FMFq4 for our bikes is around $350 most places you look ( i have found them cheaper on ebay). In the parts unlimited catalog it's $350 something. I have a friend of a friend who's cousin (it's something like that) will sometimes sell stuff out of the Parts unlimited catalog for his cost, in order to keep his Parts unlimited license current. I got my FMFq4 through him for $280.
Hmmmmmm? Parts unlimited probably pays $180 for it.

I'll put a different spin on this subject.....Your Ears! All these loud pipes will eventually wreck your hearing. I don't mean to be the Buzz killer but I have been in loud rock bands for years. Recently I started getting a ringing in my ears right after watching the fall Nascar race in Martinsville. The ringing has not gone away and it's been months. I hope all you younger riders consider your ears with all these loud pipes. Get some input from your physician on how loud is safe and then follow his/her advice. JMHO

Thats why I'm looking for the quieter approach to the exhaust upgrade. From what I've heard it makes a big diff. on power to get rid of the restricted stock muffler.
Thanks Dan888 for the input, I'll start shopping around. I bundled up and rode for about 30 miles around the outskirts of town to celebrate today. Happy new Year!
