KLX is hers. I wrench on it.
Nickle width play at the lever always. Not a dumb question.
Learned at 12yo ona hodaka ace 100. Ridden 3 & 4 wheelers forever. MSF in '08.
She knows how to ride.

Thanks for all the suggestions. Everyones experiences are much appreciated.
Higher tension springs are next before the clutch is cooked.

OK i see your point now.
Today while out beating on the 351 i was trying to see how fast and how high of a gear could i wheelie the bike. SO i was rolling along at a good clip and reved the motor, dumped the clutch only to have it slip... Hmmm guess i need to invest in springs.

I got that EBC kit and springs probably three months ago.. Yesterday, (after I said how good it was) it started slipping.. I know the cable isn't binding, it's got full range of motion.. Weird.. I guess I'll take the cover off and check on the plates.. Maybe try to order even stiffer springs from somewhere? It shouldn't be slipping THAT soon.. I don't beat on the clutch.

What type of oil are you using in it?

Have you done wheelies by dropping the clutch a lot?

Tortured the plates/clutch when it was a stock 250 and trying to wheelie...

Don't need to dump the clutch w/ the 350 kit to get the front end up even w/ stock gearing.

Thats what I am getting at. If the clutch has been abused before the BB kit then it would likely be on its way out anyway. Not because of the additional HP

I never drop the clutch to wheelie, just gas and pull.. I really don't beat on it in that way. Weird. And the EBC kit was the full kit with plates and clutch discs.
