Default Big Bore Bliss

My BB331 arrived Friday started install after work and started it up at 1 a.m. Got the bodywork and seat on this morning and have been breaking her in today. I am very happy with the mod, bike runs great and has torque now! I ended up with DJ132 and the needle clip at pos 2 (from the bottom). Pulls clean and revs out quicker than before. Put the 14t sprocket back on and love the power on the two lane highways. Anyone else doing a big bore this spring?

Nice! The bike definitely needs more CC's than what it comes from the factory with.
Have fun with it.

Nothing like an extra 100 cc's to help get the bike moving....

I'd like to see how that new ignition with 10 more degrees of advance would help on the bottom & top end.

This spring?...just a little earlier. Details in 351 thread below.

I put about 20 miles on the rings. Then couldn't ride...you probably know that. The buds are taking me and the bike out to the desert tomorrow. I still can't ride. They are going to finish seating the rings for me. It needs ridden. I trust them...I think..ya I do.

I'm going to kick back in the spring sun and enjoy the day on a nice Cabelas reclining camp chair with a can in hand. They will enjoy a nice hour or 2 ride.

That's what friends are for. LOL Too bad you couldn't seat those rings yourself, but chillin with a cold beer in the warm sun isn't all that bad. Enjoy the day.

That's the plan -- enjoy the day. What's even more frustrating...or good...depending on your POV...they will be teaching the new GF some finer points of riding. Now aint that a biotch? I have good friends. And if I wind up with a GF that rides...could be sweet bliss.

my 2012 250s only has 200 miles on it,but I plan on pulling the plug on a 331 kit late spring. I find myself on this bike more than my crotch rocket, so a lil more power should make it even more fun....
