I can't tell you how many times I've run across (fortunately, not INTO) large herds of sheep on the trails where I ride!!! Never been attacked though... LOL!

I'll add this to one more reason I ALWAYS carry a loaded .45! You get one warning shot if you're a ram, then U'r rack is going up on the garage wall!
On the other hand maybe he recognized the rider as someone who had been making eyes with one of the ewes. I'm just sayin......

I was out for a ride once and came up on a bull standing in the middle of the road. It was at that moment I wished I had a green KLX.

Ha! Mine's red too, and cattle free-range all over the areas I ride. I have been riding in the middle of slow-moving herds before... never thought they might want to charge my RED bike!
