Somewhere there was a cop and biker gets a ticket. Court upholds the ticket.

I'm not saying "never do that" but I am saying it is probably against the law and will get you a ticket if you're caught by a cop or by a red light camera.

How about the state DOT revised traffic codes? That IS the law. That is where I got my information with a bit of help from my father the ODOT traffic control engineer. He also filled me in on a number of other little tid bits too. Another is it isn't illegal to cross left of center on a double yellow when there is no traffic involved. I'd have to do some looking to get the code for that though. In other words if you drift over the double yellow it isn't a violation. Passing is though and failure to yield right of way by doing so is too.
