Best riding pants?
#11
I had a pair of Thor Static and Shift Recon pants, both over the boot. My big complaint on both of them is they were a little short in the inseam(altough I am 6'1"). The thor is much better of a pant then the Shift. The Thor have removable hip pads and lower leg gaiters. They were also a little less baggy then the shift's. The Thors did seem a little less water resistant than the Shift's though. The thors also had better pockets in them.
Next pair I get I am going to try and get a pair that has side leg zippers to help aid with putting the boots and knee guards on.
I normally wear a between a 32 and 34 (I usually try for a 33) in jeans. I had a 34 in both pairs and wouldn't have wanted them any tighter.
Rocky mountain has some good deals, and you can usually find good deals on Ebay for pants as well.

They also call over the boot pants- Freeride or Freestyle pants.

I have the Thor Ride pants and really like them but the zipper broke off of the pant leg opening. I think that my next pair will be some Klim Dakars or the Mojaves! I have heard that the Klim stuff is really nice!!
