I run the SpeedoDRD from 12o'clock labs on my 12' 250S, with my cell phone speed app and my gps both confirm my bike speedo is dead on. I never checked how inaccurate the odometer is but it does seem off from reality. I'd be curious to check it.

Not sure where OP is from as no location...Petrol is usually a term from overseas and Imperial gallon is bigger than US gallon, therefore MPG is higher. So, is mileage accurate (GPS) and are we talking US or Imperial gallons? Apples to Apples eh.

I watch too many British Bike shoes my man!

I meant gas, regular 87 octane.

My trucks odometer and motorcycle gets the same reading to and from work.

Its 16 miles backward and forward to work. 32 miles in all.

The odometer is accurate, sometimes the speedometer fluctuates, I drive three days before fill ups, getting great MPG.

I read on other forums people getting up to 120 miles before filling up with gas again.

and I have run this bike out of gas, but wasn't paying attention to how many miles I had drove, just running errands. I will never do that again.

but luckily I did make it to a gas station on reserve that time.

located in the mountains of Virginia btw.

I should just slap on my gps it has its own odometer and reset my trip on the bike
shouldnt take more then a few miles to see if both match up
slow and high speeds

My question to that would be,

if the odometer is off, the mileage on the bike would also be off, as they both add up.

but if my bikes odometer is off so is my trucks odometer.

When I bought the bike it had only 112 miles on it, a police training academy used the bike to train on, after the contract ended, they sold all the bikes, all of them 250s and a lot of them were KLX 250s!

Even if the odometer is off a tad, not sure why? Maybe because its a dual sport, meant for mostly dirt roads, so odometer accuracy not considered?

Without a odometer, and stopping to fill up for fear of running the tank dry, I know 90 miles on this bike that in 90 miles I should fill up again, with just over a .5 gallon left in the tank.

the last time I filled up at two forty nine a gallon, for 1.375 gallons, it cost three dollars and fifty eight cents.

stock sprockets, exhaust, chain, even the stock Dunlop 605's.

and I do have a dynojet kit installed by a local motorcycle shop.

B12 is an awesome product. And way cheaper than seafoam. It warns you to not get it on your paint...must be strong.
