RE: Before and after
Hey deej!
I see you went for the BikeMaster folding mirrors ... same here (although I think I paid too much). I really like them, but find the tension spring pretty sensitive to adjust. I've got them so they stay put, but the right one will start to creep downwards above 110 KPH (that's about 65 MPH for people who's Summer lasts more than 4 weeks!)
BTW - I sent a photo of someone else's KLX to a buddy of mine when I first got my KLX ... everyone's "Before" picture looks the same!
Keep on modding!
Mike

RE: Before and after
You are right about the before's. Lots of variations in the "afters" though. Here's mine:
Performance:
* carb jetting, slide drilled, dual snorkel airbox lid, UNI filter, Muzzy full system exhaust, 300cc big bore kit, Keihin FCR 35mm pumper carb on the way
Convenience:
* IMS 3.2 gallon tank, 12V accessory socket
Instruments / Navigation:
* Trail Tech Vapor, Garmin GPSMAP 276C
Looks:
* rear fender rework
Durability:
* MSR Hawkins guards, Renthal bar, folding mirrors, MSR skid plate - soon to be replaced with the new and improved "Sullydirt" skid plate
Rider:
* ear to ear grin when throttle open
I'm sure I've missed something ...
