LMAO!!

What makes it so funny is that the rest of the bike is so clean you can eat off of it and then you see the underneath......

That's like when your wife tells you to clean the house and you sweep all the crap under the rug and say "honey it's all done!"

Hey FM_Thumper how about a picture of your XT 225? A friend of mine is looking into getting bikes for him and his wife. He really likes the 2003 XT.

Hey FM_Thumper how about a picture of your XT 225? A friend of mine is looking into getting bikes for him and his wife. He really likes the 2003 XT.

My XT is the original 1992 Serow. It's the one with the cartoon Japanese Mountain Goat on the gas tank. I don't have any photos of it right now. It is actually not running right now. Last summer at 23,000 miles on it, it died on me on my way to work. It was not getting any spark and we diagnosed it as a bad CDI. I got a new CDI & installed it. Now it is getting good spark but it still won't start. Anyway winter came and the Serow sat. I bought the KLX so the Serow sat even more. Now it has sat idle for almost a year. I should diagnose it and get it running.... It is obviously something fuel related now and probably very simple. I did drain the fuel before sitting idle.

The XT really is a great bike especially if you are short. I'm only 5'7" and even with the preload at full max, I can flat foot it with my knees bent. The KLX is about as tall of a bike as I can handle. I ruled out the DRZ400 as it was too tall for me. The only bad thing about the bike is that it is a little short on power on the highway. If it had the KLX's power, it would be nice. Ironically it wheelies a lot better than the KLX...
