Before.....
Well I got busy today and started cleaning, (yes deej is cleaning again) my truck since I have been neglecting it lately as a friend of mine has pointed out ever since I got the KLX. Well today I took and completely detailed the truck, including spending almost an hour on each wheel with mothers aluminum polish. So there's the bike and my truck all loaded up and ready to head in to the bike shop in the morning. Then on Sunday I come back with the new and improved KLX and the new Yamaha XT 225 for the wife. I told her to start studying for the permit and then it's time for me to go completely gray and loose all my hair teaching her to ride Also I had to post a couple of pics so you could see all the work that went into the wheel cleaning. And don't tease me for having matching tie downs for the bike........and they say women are the only ones who accessorize...

RE: Before.....
Deej,
You might find training the wife on the XT225 not to be so bad. I taught my girlfriend to ride last year on a Yamaha RT100, which unfortunately got stolen two months later. She picked it up pretty quick and likes to ride now. My girlfriend will never like riding like I do, but now she understands my passion for motorcycling and that makes spending money, and dissappering for rides easier.
I bought her a 1985 yamaha XT225 Serow this year. It is mint condition with only 10000km on it. This is the first generation XT imported from Japan. Hard for me to get parts, but the shape this thing is in, it won't need any parts unless crashed. Great little bike, hate the colour though (yellow). This bike is perfect for the girlfriend and buddies. I don't want anybody to hurt themselves on a bigger, more powerful machine. Sometimes when the beer is in my veins when camping, I hop on the smaller XT225 bike to lessen my chances of an "accident".
How do you attach several full size pics in one thread? I've got some great riding pics I would like to share.
Here is my XT225

RE: Before.....
Well Deej,
Your riding experience will never again be the same. Once you get the new pipe and carb adjustments your fun factory will increase a whole Poo Load. Not to mention that grin on your face will widen once you fire that beast up for the first time. I know mine did. Not to mention the fact you hardly have to use the choke anymore. I use mine for about 4sec and then push it back in, the bike will idle just fine, not like before.
Let us all know how it turns out!!!
