Concept is the same for the tail pipe. That picture is actually part of the steps I looked at over at thumpertalk i think. maybe KTMtalk. The problem is i cant get at it just now because one of the screw heads is broken and I can't get it off (have that sorted out this week). I've read all the steps for the "cannisterectomy" and better yet found videos from a guy called RonnieMX on you tube.
I had a problem with the catchcan, as I had real troubles getting the bike to start. After learning about it, I removed the screw and boom....a catch can worth of gasoline drained on to my drive way! I leave the screw out now, and will likely drill a hole at the bottom of it (as the screw hole is raised a quarter inch, so gas still collects). I'd rather keep it in because it keeps the hoses tidy.
Heavy, thanks! The bruise made me look badass though.I went for XRays because it was bothering me, and to everyone's astonishment, not even a fracture!
Lessons? Drink milk, and get bikes that can do wheelies over stuff. That's all kids.
