I was just wondering what all of you are running as you bark busters, and what you think of them. i am thinking of putting some on because i need some security when i ride. and i want to keep my hands. if you have pictures and how you installed them that would be great. thanks.

i run the moose brand with optional plastic spoilers for extra protection. the moose are cheaper than the other brands ive seen, and trust me, i've smacked some trees with the barkbusters and bent my tag handlebars and the barkbusters are still perfect.

I have (genuine) Bark Busters with the triple clamp mounting kit, if you bend or break these babies your going to break the bike. Even though this pic is not actually of the Bark Busters you can still see them.

I've bent a handlebar and the barkbusters have survived. They will save you what you would have spent in new levers.

I go through levers every couple of weeks? Or once a month. I have a whoreish community bike. Everyone gets their turn on it when we start drinkin on the weekends out back in the woods.

I have the Acerbis rally guards. I have not mounted them yet but I can say that the plastic spoilers do seem smaller than some on other brands.

I use the cycra probend triple clamp mount handguards. Top of the line product, expensive but an excellent quality product. Plenty of room for hands and levers (you don't have to cut the ball of your levers) They offer several different plastic guards to choose from.

I run the Tusk brand with the spoilers and the extra coverage spoilers. The fit wasn't all that great but they went and and saved my levers big time on the NorthEast ride. I wend down hard a couple times and your bars just disappear in that sand.

They look good however if your using the stock handlebars they may be difficult to fit as the clamp on the hand guards may go where the cross brace is, I know mine were a RPITA until I got the triple clamp mounts
