CuzLarry, I can't remember, do you have a stock carb (and jet kit) with that 351?

A bolt-on aux fuel tank? This got my attention. Almost consider the IMS fuel tank until I realized the all the routing that has to be done. But with an extra gallon for backup, I may consider boring-up since it allow for the 100miles before RES range.

I have done the same thing, I move through the gears so fast I don't even count. I assume you are using the stock 520x106 chain with the 15T ?

When we ran mine (using the de-restricted stock pipe and the free mod stock carb,) on the dyno, it showed there was no reason to rev the engine past 7000 rpm. You're gaining RPM, but the torque and hp peaks have already occurred. I generally shift mine at 6500 for best street performance, and on dirt trails, with the 351, I'm not above 5000.

I don't have the 15T yet, I'm hoping the chain can be reused.

It will be fairly tight, but doable.

What about the head work that was also mentioned? Are you anywhere with that?

I've seen the new intake valves in the head... Pretty cool. They are as big as you can go.
