Auxiliary Gas Tank!
#12
A bolt-on aux fuel tank? This got my attention. Almost consider the IMS fuel tank until I realized the all the routing that has to be done. But with an extra gallon for backup, I may consider boring-up since it allow for the 100miles before RES range.

On a personal note, Bill and I are switching to 15 tooth countershaft sprockets. The 351 revs so fast, I can't shift fast enough to keep up. There is no doubt the 351 will pull it. Even with the'07's "tall 6th" gearbox I can't count how many times I've reached for 7th so far...

When we ran mine (using the de-restricted stock pipe and the free mod stock carb,) on the dyno, it showed there was no reason to rev the engine past 7000 rpm. You're gaining RPM, but the torque and hp peaks have already occurred. I generally shift mine at 6500 for best street performance, and on dirt trails, with the 351, I'm not above 5000.

I don't have the 15T yet, I'm hoping the chain can be reused.
