Default Aus spec carb slide has 5 holes!

My Aus spec carb slide has 5 holes in it. Which holes do I fill, and which hole do I drill to 7/64" ?
See pic below. Would like to get it done this WE as it's a holiday and I want to do a few rides.
Any help appreciated.

The hole right next to the needle is the one you drill to 7/64ths. As far as which one you fill, I have no idea.

Yeah, I'm replying to myself. Found this and I think it clarifies things, just need some reassurance.
There should only be 2 holes in the slide, one for the needle and one acting as a vent, next to the needle (I drill this one to 7/64". )
The other 3 holes on the slide (all found on the cylinder side of the slide) are unnecessary. You can see them on previous picture ( 2 just above white collar and one in the centre of the cylinder but further up.) I should fill all 3 holes. The 3rd hole was the one causing some confusion as it's not been discussed in any forum I could find.
Let me recap. Drill the hole next to the one the needle goes in, to 7/64". Fill the other 3 holes on the cylinder. Reassemble diaphram.
Am I correct?

That would be my guess because mine doesn't have the holes in the cylinder portion of the slide. It would be cool if someone from OZ that has done the OZ slide mode would chime-in though.

I think you've got it. Try searching here--there is an official Kawasaki procedure in PDF here...

About those screws...do you know what size they are? Are all 4 the same or is one longer for a bracket? I know I bought a screw kit when I did my other bike as the screws can easily be messed up.
Thanks,
db

I looked up the parts (screws) for a 2006 KLX and they don't show the sizes but they sure think they are worth a lot of $$. I will just go to the hardware thank you very much! So 3 of them are one length and one is most likey longer...

220A SCREW-PAN-CROS
220AA0414 (replaces220D0414) 3 $1.62

223 SCREW-PAN-WS-CROS
223D0416 1 $1.19
