RE: ATTN: California brothers
When you get stuck in some mud, that Fan is alive!! I hear the fan come on when I'm moving really slow through some muck, mud, etc.. But when you cruizing on the street or on a trail thats fast, theres no need for the fan to come on. I have seen the fan come on numerous times though, and I'm glad its there.

I hope the guys at IMS read this post. There are gobs of guys in the States (and over here in Japan) who will purchase tanks for the KLX 250S (KLX 250H over here) and easily make it worth IMS's while to re-fit the design.

Where are you in Japan, and one weird question, can you still order anything (yes, including motorcycles) from the BX/PX (AFFES)?

I'm in Utsunomiya, 60 miles due north of Tokyo. I'm not with the military (I'm on assignment here working for a non-profit organization), so I don't really know anything about BX/PX.

Do any of you military guys (gals?) know if you can still order stuff thru the BX/PX? While living on Okinawa, that is how most of the GI's bought their bikes since it was cheaper than buying them off-base.
But this was about 20 years ago.
