Most of the pressure suits I've seen are made of mesh material similar to the Phoenix jacket, and have wind blocking foam padding, which to me seems like they would be warmer than the jacket. I wear my Alter Ego gear both on and offroad, typically I don't wear the pants offroad though, they are a bit restrictive. Maybe you'd be best served by rounding out your lightweight gear with elbow pads and maybe a race jersey that has some abrasion resistance?

fyi all, i just picked up a jacket i had my dealer order that i saw on the kawasaki site. $39.95 colored mesh air jacket. it's loaded with sewn in and removable armor in the shoulder, arm and back areas. it also comes with a zip out rain liner, zip pockets, a belt waist adjuster, wrist and arm adjusment snaps, and zip attachment in the back for riding pants.i couldnt be more happy with it. the price just blew me away. the one i ordered is orange/black and can be seen easily. but thats ok with me. it's a good fitcause my mom once said i was very bright.

Nice jackets - But still way too warm for the desert, at least until it cools down at the end of November! I picked up a Thor Phase Performance Jersey, Thor Sentinel Roost Chest Guard and a pair of EVS Option Elbow Guards at the Kawi stealer today. Believe me even with just that on it's HOT!
