API Unlimited ECU for KLX250S
Anybody interested in buying an API Unlimited ECU (PC programable ECU) with software and comunication cable. I sold my KLX250S and now I want to sold the API ECU.

Is that the same programable unit that only the mysterious disappearing Chatbovin can program remotely via an uplink from a country slowly receding below monsoon flooding.

Yes, that's the same. But I never used that procedure to program it. I did it at my own.
It's not so simple to program, but after some trial and error, I could program it as I wanted. I never put it on a Dyno, but the result was so stupid that I could feel in my hands.
The bad thing is that increased the fuel consumption.
I sold the bike with the original one, because this kind of ECU is just for people that love to have MOD in your bike.

According to last information from API it won't work in your bike, they was working in adjustments to Big Bore KLXs. Just for 250cc and 300cc.
I received from API, a CD with programs, drivers for USB cable, and English instructions (not much help). Some samples adjustments, that I used as a base to build my own.
It replaces the original ECU at all, you don't need (and shouldn't use) a piggyback with.
In my opinion, it's much much more efficient than a piggyback (for the 250cc and 300cc), because you have the overall control of your engine, fuel, timing, mixture in different scenarios, and many other adjustments.
